I think Baker is a right-handed DH with power who can also give Goldschmidt a day off once in awhile. The seem to like Burleson. I can’t see him not making the cut. I’m thinking that Winn might have to go back to Memphis for some more AB’s. That puts Edman at SS and Carlson in CF, I think. Or, Nootbaar could play CF with Burleson in LF again. Then, Carlson is the left-handed DH. They could send Palacios down and keep Fermin instead, but there’s not much excitement with that move. Donovan can play outfield or 2B. It’s all fluid for now. I just hope that by June Oli is set on a lineup, but that might not be his style of managing. It’s hard to see how Arenado ever gets a day off. If Winn doesn’t make the cut, I do see where we need a defense minded infielder, probably Fermin. I think my point is that roster is pretty much set. It’s going to take an overwhelming breakout in spring training for a player to crack this roster.
