I’ve often wondered why MLB failed to publicly disclose it’s initial 2013 investment in DraftKings until almost two years after it’s decision to get involved with the upstart venture. Anytime I’m made aware of something like that, I can’t help but to think something shady was going on. At any rate, the term “MLB draft” has taken on a new meaning with me ever since the owners of Big League baseball teams decided it was time to invest in the organized sports bookmaking business. They should call their joint venture, “A.R. Enterprises”…For old time’s sake.
