I say call up Luken Baker and let him take some hacks in the DH slot. His OPS is 1.099 vs RHP and 1.020 vs LHP. He’s got 750 PAs worth of AAA experience, so he’s seen plenty of fairly advanced pitching. AAA success doesn’t guarantee MLB success, but AA success doesn’t either, and that hasn’t been an issue for the organization. Hype isn’t going to help us win, but a basher whose bat is hot might. Its worth a try.
