Congrats on the grand daughter’s baptism, 1TD. My cousin just went through that last Sunday – grand daughter as well.
I can see the point with Libby having a side session day and doing that in a game. But prefer to keep him on a starter’s regimen, and throw Stratton in that situation. I would not have used Stratton on Friday though, and would have brought in Gallegos to protect the 1 run lead that night. So me and the manager are on a different page on this.
But on a positive note, how about Mercado! He is throwing his Cardinal hat in the ring to be an outfielder. Man, what are we going to do? Yepez and O’Neill are probably short timers as far as their St. Louis employment.
If we could deal them and throw in Matz for a stand out reliever and a decent prospect, go for it.
