With expanded playoffs why do they need the 162 game season to separate the wheat from the chaff?
Answer: They don’t.
It’s the $$$$$, as always.
Almost every team will remain in the playoff picture until the last week or so. Have to be really, really bad to not be a playoff ‘contender’.
Ah well, change happens – not always for the best but not all changes are bad either….
