One of those interesting twists in yesterdays box score: Jake Woodford got the win but he gave up 3 hits and 3 runs to also get a blown save. Pitching stats really leave a lot to be desired and I have always supported letting the manager decide who deserves a win in each game the team wins. Also allowed would be 1/2 wins to award two pitchers. Makes about as much sense as what they use today. Mandatory 5 innings for a starter to get a win but one pitch for all others. JMHO.
