The Cardinals made the right choice by not bringing him back for 2020. Ozuna was a borderline bust in my opinion considering how bad his defense was and getting the extra draft pick was a no brainer. I am not surprised he ended up with a one year deal which is why I pegged his chances of accepting the QO at 40%.
Having said that, there is no rule that says that the Cardinals couldn’t bring him back for 2021 if he has a big year this year. I know that is unlikely though with the emergence of Carlson and the limited payroll room.
