It sure was Euro Dandy! Didn’t get home until just after the conclusion, so I just finished watching the final 3 1/2 innings on tape. Maybe I’ll go back sometime this weekend and watch the first 5 1/2 frames. If I were to be attending a Halloween party later this month at Rat’s house, I know exactly who I would go as so to frighten the living daylights out of Rat…… Carlos Martinez, all decked out in his Cardinal uni. I would walk around all night with a glass of Wild Turkey in one hand and fondling a rosin bag in the other…..thank God I gave up smoking years ago, as I wouldn’t have enough hands…..the Wild Turkey would stay, so it would be between the rosin bag and the Marlboro Red as to which would occupy the other hand. I keep thinking about the bang bang play at 1st just before the Freeman 9th inning jack. I think if the Braves had tied this game and it had gone to extras, we would have fared as well as we did during Carlos’ last 9th inning meltdown during Game 1 of our 4 game sweep in Wrigley a couple of weeks ago.
