Rosters don’t extend — 25 is the number.
I think I remember this correctly, they can change within a series due to injury. If a player goes down with an injury tonight, the team could possibly replace him with another player for the next game (not sure what the criteria for injury are). That would make the injured player ineligible for the rest of the NLDS, plus the next series (NLCS in this case).
