The St. Louis Cardinals minor league system was 2-2 on Thursday. The Cardinal Nation’s Player of the Day, Peoria RHP Ty Van Dyke, pitched five scoreless, no-hit relief innings and struck out five as he earned his second High-A win. Other standouts include Jeremy Rivas, Bligh Madris, Nate Dohm, Trevor Haskins, Ian Petrutz, J.P. Cabrera, and Miguel Hernández.

Memphis Redbirds 4 at Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp 10
The Triple-A Memphis Redbirds fell to the Jumbo Shrimp in Jacksonville on Thursday.
Jared Shuster made his first start for the Redbirds in place of scheduled starter Brycen Mautz. The left-hander pitched three innings and allowed three runs, two earned, on four hits, no walks, and four strikeouts. Shuster took the loss.
Luis Gastelum fired a scoreless fourth inning in relief of Shuster. Jason Savacool was touched up for six runs, four earned, and recorded just two outs. Scott Blewett yielded a run over 1 ⅓ frames. Ryan Murphy tossed a scoreless seventh frame. Austin Love fired a shutout eighth frame.
After rain delayed the start of the contest, Jacksonville opened the scoring with a pair of runs in the bottom of the first and a run in the second to move in front 3-0. Memphis narrowed the gap to two in the top of the third.
Colton Ledbetter began the frame with a single. Jeremy Rivas reached on a fielder’s choice, with Ledbetter to third base via a fielding error. Victor Scott II walked to load the bases with one away. Ledbetter crossed home plate on a César Prieto sacrifice fly to put the Redbirds on the board at 3-1.
The Jumbo Shrimp plated six runs in the fifth and added a run in the sixth to extend the lead to 10-1. Memphis dented the score with a two-run seventh.
Bligh Madris crushed his 11th home run of the season, a solo shot, for the second Memphis run.

With one out, Rivas belted his first Triple-A home run, a solo blast, to move the score to 10-3.

Memphis plated a run in the eighth. Nolan Gorman walloped a solo home run for a 10-4 score.

Memphis was unable to answer further.
The Redbirds scored four runs on six hits. Gorman, Madris, and Rivas each hit a solo home run. Ledbetter singled and scored a run. Noah Mendlinger hit a single. No Redbird had multiple hits in the game.
The Redbirds did not steal a base.
On defense, second baseman Mendlinger and right fielder Joshua Báez each committed a fielding error.
Memphis is 1-2 in the second half and 48-30 overall.

Springfield Cardinals vs. Northwest Arkansas Naturals (postponed)
The Double-A Springfield Cardinals contest with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals at Route 66 Stadium was postponed on Thursday due to inclement weather forecasts in the area.
Unfortunately, Thursday night's forecast has worsened with severe storms and potential flooding in the area. Tonight's game (6/25) game has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The teams will play a doubleheader on Friday.
Springfield is 1-1 in the second half and 32-38 overall.
Friday’s games: Game one: RHP Chen-Wei Lin (2-3, 4.08) vs. RHP Drew Beam (3-6, 6.02) 4:15 PM CT.
Game two: LHP Liam Doyle (1-5, 6.08) vs. TBA. Game two is slated to begin shortly after game one’s conclusion.
Peoria Chiefs 2 at Beloit Sky Carp 0
The High-A Peoria Chiefs held the Beloit Sky Carp to just two hits in Thursday’s road contest.
Nate Dohm started his 10th game in his 12th appearance for Peoria. The right-hander threw three scoreless innings on one hit, two walks, and four strikeouts.
Rehabbing Victor Santos tossed a shutout fourth frame in relief of Dohm, as he works to rejoin the Triple-A club. Ty Van Dyke pitched five scoreless, no-hit innings with five strikeouts to finish the game and earn his second win with Peoria.

Peoria opened the scoring in the top of the second inning. Luis Pino walked and advanced to third base on a Cameron Nickens single. Pino scored on a Sammy Hernandez sacrifice fly to put the Chiefs ahead 1-0.
Peoria doubled the lead in the fifth. Jose Cordoba lined a double and scored on a Jack Gurevitch single for a 2-0 Cardinals lead.

The Chiefs held Beloit to just two hits as Peoria pitching stranded six Sky Carp on base in the shutout win.
The Chiefs scored two runs on two runs on five hits. Cordoba doubled and drove in a run. Gurevitch singled and drove in a run. Pino walked, singled, and scored a run. Nickens walked and singled.
On the bases, Nickens swiped his third bag and was caught stealing second base. Gurevitch stole his fifth. Hernandez logged his sixth steal.
Peoria is 3-2 in the second half and 35-36 overall.

Palm Beach Cardinals 8, Bradenton Marauders 5
The Low-A Palm Beach Cardinals edged the Bradenton Marauders at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium on Thursday.
Jack Martinez made his 14th start for Palm Beach. The right-hander pitched 3 ⅔ innings and allowed two runs on four hits, two walks, and seven strikeouts.
Jesús García yielded a run across 2 ⅔ innings in relief of Martinez and collected his second win with Palm Beach.
Anthony Watts gave up two unearned runs over 1 ⅓ innings. Dylan Driessen fanned two and secured the final four outs to collect his third save.
Bradenton struck first with a run in the top of the second inning. Palm Beach knotted the game at one in the home half of the frame.
Ian Petrutz hit his second home run of the rehab assignment to work towards rejoining Peoria, a solo shot, to tie the game at one apiece.

The Marauders moved back in front 2-1 with a run in the third. The Cardinals responded with four runs in the home third.
Heriberto Caraballo began the inning with a single. Sebastian Dos Santos grounded into a force out, with Caraballo out at second base and Dos Santos safe at first. Ryan Weingartner scorched a double to bring Caraballo home and tie the game at two.
Brayden Smith drew a walk, with Weingartner to third base on the play via a wild ball four. Weingartner crossed home plate on a balk to bring the Cardinals ahead 3-2, with Smith to second base. Yordalin Peña doubled home Smith for a 4-2 Cardinals lead.
Petrutz hit a second consecutive double to plate Peña and extend the lead to 5-2.
The Cardinals added a run in the fourth. Trevor Haskins launched his fifth home run of the season to widen the lead to 6-2.
Palm Beach tallied another run in the sixth. Chase Heath singled and stole second base. Heath moved to third on a Haskins groundout and scored on a Caraballo single for a 7-2 Palm Beach advantage.
Bradenton scored a run in the seventh and two in the eighth to narrow the score to 7-5. Palm Beach flexed their muscles for an insurance run in the home eighth.
Haskins hit his second solo home run of the game to move the Cardinals ahead 8-5.

Palm Beach improved to 9-0 against Bradenton in the 2026 season.
The Cardinals scored eight runs on 11 hits. Haskins hit two home runs for two RBI. Petrutz was 2-for-4 including a double, a home run and two RBI. Peña doubled, scored a run, and drove in a run. Weingartner doubled, scored a run, and notched an RBI. Caraballo hit three singles and brought a run home. Heath was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored.
On the bases, Heath swiped his sixth bag.
On defense, second baseman Smith committed a fielding error.
Palm Beach is 5-1 in the second half and 38-34 overall.

FCL Cardinals 8, FCL Nationals 10
After a lightning-delayed start time, the Florida Complex League Cardinals dropped a close contest to the FCL Nationals on Thursday.
Earle Zulueta started his sixth game in his eighth appearance for the Cardinals. The right-hander threw 2 ⅔ innings and allowed four runs on six hits, one walk, and two strikeouts.
Giovanni Vargas yielded a run over 2 ⅓ innings in relief of Zulueta. Yordy Herrera surrendered four runs, three earned, across 2 ⅓ frames and took the loss. Alejandro Lóaiza gave up a run over the final 1 ⅔ innings and was tagged with a blown save.
The Cardinals pounced early with a three-run bottom of the first inning. Miguel Hernández walked and moved to second base on a disengagement violation. Cristofer Lebrón drew a second consecutive four-pitch walk. With two outs, J.P. Cabrera hit his first home run of the season, a three-run blast, to put the Cardinals in front 3-0.
The Cardinals added a pair of runs in the second. Facundo Velásquez and Daniel Rojas drew back-to-back walks. Rojas and Velásquez swiped second base and third base, respectively, on a double steal. Hernández hit a single to bring Velásquez home for a 4-0 lead. Hernández stole second base and Rojas took third base via a double steal, with Rojas scoring on the play due to a throwing error to extend the lead to 5-0.
The Nationals tied the game at five with four runs in the third and one run in the fourth. The Cardinals regained the lead with a run in the fifth.
Kenly Hunter lined a one-out double, taking third base on the play via a fielding error. Royelny Strop dropped in a single to plate Hunter and put the Cardinals back on top at 6-5.
The Nationals tied the game at six in the top of the seventh. The Cardinals grabbed their third lead of the contest in the home half of the frame.
Andru Arthur hit a lead-off double. Hernández connected for a triple to bring Arthur home and move the Cardinals ahead 7-6.
Hernández scored on a passed ball to widen the lead to 8-6.
The Nationals plated four runs in the eighth to take the lead at 10-8. The Cardinals were unable to answer.
The FCL Cardinals scored eight runs on seven hits. Cabrera tallied three RBI on a home run. Hernández was 2-for-4, including a walk, a triple, two runs scored, and two RBI. Strop was 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI. Hunter and Arthur each doubled and scored a run.
On the bases, Rojas swiped two bags to increase his season total to three. Velásquez stole his first with the FCL club. Hernández and Strop both recorded their eighth steal.
On defense, right fielder Arthur committed a fielding error. Catcher Cabrera was tagged with a catcher’s interference error.
The FCL Cardinals are 11-24 on the season. The Cardinals will play a road contest with the FCL Mets on Friday.
Friday’s game: at FCL Mets. Pitching probables have not yet been announced. First pitch is scheduled for 11:00 AM CT.
DSL Cardinals vs. DSL Colorado (Suspended)
The Dominican Summer League Cardinals’ home contest with DSL Colorado was suspended on Thursday due to inclement weather.
The game is slated to resume on Friday. It will pick up with one out in the bottom of the third inning and a 5-4 Cardinals lead.
The Cardinals are scheduled to play a road contest with DSL Colorado following the completion of the suspended game.
Friday’s games: Game one: vs. DSL Colorado – The game is slated to resume at 9:00 AM CT.
Game two is scheduled to follow shortly after game one’s conclusion.
