Cardinals Minor League Notebook – July 21, 2022

For the first time all season, on Wednesday, July 20, no games were played in the Cardinals minor league system, but the two rookie level teams will be back in action Thursday.

Memphis Redbirds – Off

The Memphis Redbirds are 50-40, 4.5 games back of the Nashville Sounds in third place in the International League West.

Friday’s game:  at Gwinnett, TBA vs. TBA 7:05 CT (The Redbirds are off until Friday, July 22)

Springfield Cardinals- Off

The Springfield Cardinals are 10-8 in the second half, one game back of the Wichita Wind Surge in the Texas League North.

Friday’s game:  at NW Arkansas, TBA vs. TBA 7:05 CT (The Cardinals are off until Friday, July 22)

Peoria Chiefs – Off

The Peoria Chiefs are 7-14 in the second half, in fifth place in the Midwest League West, eight games back of the South Bend Cubs.

Friday’s game:  at Cedar Rapids, TBA vs. TBA 6:35 CT (The Chiefs are off until Friday, July 22)

Palm Beach Cardinals – Off

The Palm Beach Cardinals are 12-9 and in first place in the Florida State League East by one game.

Friday’s game:  at Daytona, TBA vs. TBA, 6:05 CT (The Cardinals are off until Friday, July 22)

FCL Cardinals – Off

The Florida Complex League Cardinals are 17-16 and are 9.5 games back of the Nationals in fifth place in the East Division.

Thursday’s game:  vs. FCL Astros Blue, TBA vs. TBA 11:00 am CT

DSL Cardinals – Off

The DSL Cardinals are 18-17 and are four games back of Colorado in the DSL South Division.

Thursday’s game:  at DSL Brewers2, TBA vs. TBA 10:00 am CT.
