The St. Louis Cardinals system went 2-2 on Sunday. The Cardinal Nation’s Player of the Day, Memphis left fielder Scott Hurst, went 4-for-5 with two RBI, a run scored and a stolen base. Other standouts include Aaron Brooks, Masyn Winn and Luis Rodriguez.

The Memphis Redbirds (46-38) beat the Durham Bulls (TB, 45-39) at Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Sunday.
Aaron Brooks tossed six scoreless innings with five hits and one walk surrendered. The right-hander fanned nine and earned his fourth win.
The Redbirds scored their first run in the fourth inning as Alec Burleson recorded an RBI. In the sixth, Moisés Gómez drove in a run and Burleson doubled to add another one. Scott Hurst plated one with a double in the seventh. Hurst brought in another run in the ninth.
James Naile pitched two innings and gave up a run on a hit and two walks. Freddy Pacheco tossed a scoreless ninth inning.
Hurst went 4-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored. Ben DeLuzio recorded two hits and came across twice. The lineup struck out 15 times but still recorded nine hits and four walks.
DeLuzio stole his 22nd bag of the year and Hurst took his eighth.
The Redbirds went 3-3 against the Bulls this week. They are 6.5 games back of Nashville.

The Springfield Cardinals (6-6) topped the Arkansas Travelers (SEA, 7-5) at Dickey-Stephens Park on Sunday afternoon. Jordan Walker had the day off.
Edgar Escobar tossed six innings with a run yielded on two hits. The right-hander struck out four and earned his fifth win.
Mike Antico singled to bring in a run in the third inning to take a1-0 lead. The Travelers responded with a run in the fourth. In the sixth, Nick Raposo hit a two-run homer. Nick Dunn added one more in the seventh.
Tyler Pike threw a scoreless two innings with two walks and three strikeouts. Logan Gragg closed out the game and earned his first save.
The lineup went 2-for-11 with runners in scoring position. Masyn Winn and Julio Rodriguez recorded two hits apiece. Malcom Nunez left eight runners on base and Chase Pinder went 1-for-2 with three walks.
Winn stole his eighth bag for Springfield.
The Cardinals went 3-3 against the Travelers this week and are one game back of Arkansas.

The Peoria Chiefs (5-10) fell to the Beloit Sky Carp (MIA, 8-7) on Sunday afternoon at Dozer Park.
Wilfredo Pereira tossed five innings with three runs given up on three hits, one walk and three strikeouts. St. Louis right-hander Drew VerHagen made another rehab appearance and yielded an unearned run in two innings.
The Chiefs scored all five runs in the seventh and eighth innings. Luis Rodriguez and Tommy Jew both plated one in the seventh. L.J. Jones hit a two-run shot in the eighth, his sixth of the year. Noah Mendlinger tied the game at 5-5 with a solo homer, the first of his professional career.
Nathanael Heredia gave up a run in the eighth inning. The Sky Carp scored the go-ahead run off Nick Trogrlic-Iverson in the ninth. The right-hander surrendered two hits and took his third loss.
The lineup went 1-for-5 with runners in scoring position and left 10 runners on base. Rodriguez had three of the seven Chiefs hits. Jacob Buchberger and Francisco Hernandez struck out three times each.
Peoria went 2-4 against Beloit this week and is six games back of first place South Bend.

The Palm Beach Cardinals (9-6) were defeated by the Jupiter Hammerheads (MIA, 8-7) at Roger Dean Stadium on Sunday.
Starter Alex Cornwell tossed five innings with six runs, four earned, yielded on eight hits. The left-hander fanned four and took his second loss. Chris Gerard gave up a hit and a walk but fanned three in one inning.
The Beach Birds scored all four runs in the third inning. Matt Chamberlain plated one and Patrick Romeri hit a three-run homer to take a 4-3 lead. Jupiter answered with three runs in the home half, however.
Jose Moreno surrendered a run in 1 2/3 innings on four hits, one walk and two strikeouts. Alfredo Ruiz struck out a batter in 1/3 of an inning.
Leonardo Bernal had two of the six Cardinal hits. The lineup went 1-for-8 with runners in scoring position and struck out nine times.
Jesus Orecchia, Sander Mora and Lizandro Espinoza all committed an error.
Palm Beach went 2-4 against Jupiter this week but remain in first place in the Florida State League East.

With the 3-3 week, the Cardinals are 10-13 and in fifth place in the six-team Florida Complex League East Division, six games back of the first place Nationals.

The Dominican Summer League Cardinals (12-15) went 3-4 this past week and are tied for seventh place in the nine-team South Division, trailing division-leading Colorado by 6 ½ games.
