On Thursday night, the Salt River Rafters defeated the Glendale Desert Dogs in the Arizona Fall League. Jordan Walker recorded a hit, a walk and a run scored. Kyle Leahy yielded three runs in 1 1/3 innings.

The Salt River Rafters (9-12) topped the Glendale Desert Dogs (9-10) at Camelback Ranch. Only two of the eight AFL Cardinals appeared.
Jordan Walker walked in the first inning on four pitches. The center fielder scored on a double to make the score 4-0. TCN’s no. 1 prospect struck out in the second, fourth and sixth innings but recorded a single in the eighth.
Kyle Leahy came in relief in the fourth and struck out a batter. The right-hander surrendered three runs on three hits and a walk in 1 1/3 innings. He has a 13.94 ERA in the AFL.
Diamondbacks catcher Cooper Hummel had a home run and brought four runs across in the contest.
The Rafters recorded nine hits and 12 walks. They have won seven of their last 10 games.
