The Salt River Rafters demolished the Scottsdale Scorpions on Tuesday. Mike Antico led the way with two home runs, two walks, a steal, four RBI and three runs scored. Masyn Winn singled, and Jordan Walker walked, singled and scored. Tink Hence pitched a scoreless relief inning.

Four St. Louis Cardinals prospects contributed to the decisive road shutout win.
Mike Antico was the center fielder and hit ninth in the lineup. Antico came to the plate for the first time in the third inning when slammed a three-run home run to right field.
Antico drew a walk in the fourth inning then stole second base. He advanced to third on a wild pitch. A second wild pitch sent him home for the sixth run of the game.
In the fifth inning Antico walked but was left stranded on second base after 10 hitters came to the plate. In the seventh, Antico was called out on strikes.
Antico had his final plate appearance in the ninth. He hit his second home run of the game, a solo shot.

Shortstop Masyn Winn hit second in the lineup. In the first inning he struck out swinging. In the third inning, Winn singled to right field.
In the fourth inning, with a man on third and two outs, Winn popped out to second base. In a long fifth inning when every player in the lineup came to bat, Winn flew out to right field for the second out. He was replaced defensively for the bottom of the sixth inning.
Jordan Walker hit cleanup and played in right field. He struck out looking in his first plate appearance in the second inning. In the third, he singled to left field but was caught in a run down between first and second and tagged out to end the inning.
Walker next came to the plate in the fifth inning and drew a walk. He later scored on a grand slam. In the sixth inning, Walker struck out swinging.
In his final plate appearance in the eighth, Walker struck out for the third time.
Tink Hence came in to pitch the seventh. He walked the first batter he faced, then struck out the second. Hence gave up a single to the third hitter. His fourth hitter struck out swinging. Hence got the final out on a ground out to the shortstop.

The Rafters are 8-12 on the season.
Wednesday is an off day for Salt River.
