The Salt River Rafters blanked the Peoria Javelinas on Saturday afternoon. Cardinal prospect Jordan Walker drew a walk in three plate appearances and Mike Antico went 0-for-2.

Salt River 3, Peoria 0 (7 innings)
In a seven-inning contest, the Salt River Rafters (7-11) shut out the Peoria Javelinas (8-10) at Phoenix Municipal Stadium. Two of the eight AFL Cardinals played.
Walker started in right field and flew out, struck out but walked in the fifth inning. TCN’s no. 1 prospect left one runner on base and is batting .286 in the desert.
Antico played in center field and batted ninth. He went 0-for-2. The 24-year-old popped out and flew out as his AFL batting average fell to .105.
The Rafters pitching staff tossed seven scoreless innings while surrendering only two hits and two walks. Salt River left fielder Zach Britton of Toronto recorded two hits and has a 1.303 OPS in the AFL.
Salt River recorded six hits and three walks but went 1-for-7 with runners in scoring position.
