The Salt River Rafters lost to the Scottsdale Scorpions on Friday. Masyn Winn singled in four at-bats. Pedro Pages singled and added a sac fly. Kyle Leahy pitched one scoreless inning in relief. Tink Hence pitched in the top of the seventh and got the final out.

Salt River Rafters 3, Scottsdale Scorpions 10 (seven innings)
Four Cardinals saw action for Salt River in Friday’s home loss.
Designated hitter Masyn Winn hit second in the lineup. In his first two plate appearances, he popped out to third base.
In the fifth, Winn singled to right field but was thrown out trying take second. He made the last out of the inning. Winn flied out to right field in the seventh.
Pedro Pages hit sixth and started at catcher. Pages flied out to center field in his first plate appearance in the second inning. In the bottom of the fourth, Pages hit a fly ball single, but was eliminated in a force out by the next hitter.
In the sixth, Pages drove in a run on a sac fly to center field.
In the field, Pages made a throwing error in the fourth inning that allowed a run to score.
Kyle Leahy pitched the sixth inning. He struck out one hitter and induced two ground outs for a 1-2-3 frame.
Tink Hence relieved in the top of the seventh with two outs. He gave up a single then got the final out on a strikeout looking. The game was called after seven innings.
Salt River fell to 6-11 on the season.
Saturday’s game: vs. Peoria Javelinas, Joey Wentz LHP (1-0, 0.00) vs. Tim Cate (0-1, 60.75) 1:35 CT.
