The Salt River Rafters lost to the Glendale Desert Dogs on Wednesday. Pedro Pages and Mike Antico started but went hitless, though Antico had an RBI on a ground out and scored a run.

Two Cardinals saw action Wednesday evening.
Pedro Pages started at catcher and hit fifth in the lineup. In the first inning Pages flied out to the right fielder in foul territory. He struck out swinging in the third.
Pages led off the top of the sixth inning and again fanned swinging. He led off again in the eighth and grounded out to the shortstop.
In the field, Pages had a passed ball.
Mike Antico hit ninth and played center field. In his first plate appearance in the second inning, Antico drew a walk but was left stranded. In the fourth inning, Antico grounded into a force out but drove in a run.
Antico came to the plate for the third time in the seventh inning and was hit by a pitch. He later scored. Antico made his final plate appearance in the ninth and grounded out to second on the first pitch.
Salt River is 5-10 on the season.
Thursday’s game: vs. Mesa Solar Sox, Chad Patrick RHP (0-1, 10.13) vs. Colin Peluse RHP (0-0, 3.00) 2:35 CT.
