In Saturday Arizona Fall League action, The Salt River Rafters beat the Surprise Saguaros. Cardinals prospect Jordan Walker doubled and Tink Hence tossed a scoreless inning.

Salt River 4 at Surprise 1 (7 innings)
In a seven-inning contest, the Salt River Rafters (3-9) topped the Surprise Saguaros (7-4) at Arizona’s Chase Field Saturday evening. Two of the eight Arizona Fall League Cardinals played.
In the first inning, Jordan Walker reached on an error. TCN’s no. 1 prospect doubled in the fifth. He also grounded out, struck out and left three runners on base.
Tink Hence pitched in relief in the fifth inning and gave up no runs. The Cardinal Nation’s no. 7 prospect surrendered one walk in his 15-pitch outing.
Rockies left fielder Zac Veen went 3-for-4 with two RBI for the winners. He has a 1.292 OPS in the AFL this season.
Salt River had seven hits and brought four runs across. The pitching held the Saguaros to three hits. The Rafters have won three of their last four games.
