Bob Dylan has been on his Never-Ending Tour for multiple decades now. One of the music legend’s summer staples is holding concerts in baseball stadiums. Here in 2013, Dylan is at it again, with St. Louis Cardinals affiliates playing a leading role.
Wilco, My Morning Jacket and The Richard Thompson Electric Trio will join Dylan on a 26-date tour beginning on June 26 in West Palm Beach and running through the beginning of August. Two of the four ballparks among the tour stops in what is being called The AmericanaramA Festival of Music are Cardinals territory.
AutoZone Park, home of the Memphis Redbirds, leads off on June 2 along with Chiefs Stadium, home of the Peoria Chiefs of the Class-A Midwest League on June 11. Other baseball stops are Midway Stadium, home of the St. Paul Saints of the independent American Association on June 10 and the Ballpark at Harbor Yard, home of the Bridgeport Bluefish of the independent Atlantic League on June 19.
Peoria tickets will go on sale Saturday, May 4 at 10:00 a.m. online at peoriachiefs.com, by calling 866-MYTICKET or in person at the Peoria Chiefs Stadium Box Office. All seats are general admission with tickets priced at $65.50 for the four-band festival.
Memphis tickets are set to be sold starting on Saturday, May 11 at 10:00 a.m. online at memphisredbirds.com, by calling 901-721-6000 or in person at the AutoZone Park Ticket Office. The price is the same, $65.50.
