Welp, let’s give it another shot. Mikolas is gunning for win #12 against a guy named Pablo Lopez. The Cards need to win the next two. This should be the first one. I think they score 7 runs or more tonight and win handily.
We really need to win each series which means tonight and tomorrow night have to go in the W column. We are getting to the point in the season where we can’t afford to lose a series and expect to have a chance at postseason. I don’t think this team is capable of going on a 6 or 7 game win streak but we can win 2 out of every 3 if we are focused.

Yeah my ol’Espanola is a bit rusty, but still not bad, Pads. I took 3 years of Spanish in high school and 1 my frosh campaign at Bowling Green State University. I must admit to pretty much taking a lot of siestas during my high school Spanish classes, but really did pay attention during my collegiate course. My college Spanish teacher was a smoking hot brunette which probably helped a bunch….or “mucho” if you will.

In the famous words of Jim Mora, who shares my sentiments exactly about our Cards right now: “Playoffs? Don’t talk about—playoffs?! You kidding me? Playoffs?! I just hope we can win a game! Another game!”
Tim just called it on the telecast. Said this offense looks putrid. It sure seems hard to watch without dozing off.
Boy was that liner to Jose scary!!! He drops that ball 9-10 times….thank God this play was in that ten percentile.
I feel like I’m alone on the open range in this game thread….where the doggies howl, the buffalo roam….and the fish flourish. No more though….go Birds!
This has all the makings of a scary movie where this madman slowly but surely takes out everyone in a game thread….and I’m the last one left….wonder if I quickly switch to the KC-cubbie game that I can save myself?
