Don’t worry Forschster….nobody has except me and Jon. Better late than never though…..welcome aboard, Forschster!! If this was a bar, I’d order drinks for the house seeing that it would only cost me about 10 buckaroos.
Why are people so apt to give up on games as soon as possible? The game is 9inn long folks. Giving up early can’t feel good to do and can’t feel good when you’re wrong and the joy of being right probably isn’t so satisfying either
That starter was definitely keeping the guys off balance. Good smart pitcher. But if you can keep it close as the CRds did they can get back on a mistake or two.
They can still lose this. I hope not! But it’s baseball and it’s 9inn so why not watch the whole game

DeJong and Carp go yard — finally something. There might be a little spark in this stalled engine just yet. Now maybe our young bullpen can show the veterans how it’s done. But it shouldn’t be this hard to beat the Fish for crying out loud!

Gyorko flies out to routine right about 5 feet inside the chalk. DeJong whiffs swinging. Wong lofts a soft fly ball into short left that’ll avoid leather….Ozuna holding at 2nd. Bader grounds out to 2nd. 3-2 Birds….Buddy Boy Norris time.

Up strolls Starlin Castro(9-23 lifetime vs Bud)….boy would he love to make our night a miserable one. Ah!!! Ball gets past Yadi and there goes Bour right into scoring position…ouch that hurt! Castro grounds out to Gyorko at 3rd with Bour staying put at 2nd.
One more strike to go…I think the Cards fans may outnumber the Marlins fans tonight.

Pugs — BoSox have won 8 out of last 9, with 4 straight against the Yankees. We should be so lucky. Still holding out hope for another STL – BOS Series!!
Sorry i missed the game and thread.Nice to see that DeJong nailed one and Carp hit the eventual game winner.Another good start from Mikolas and Hudson and Norris get the job done.
