Doesn’t look at all like a promising pitching matchup but neither team gets to claim any praise until they suit up and play the game.

Not sure this one will be worth watching but me and Whitey Herdog will be on the couch for first pitch. Along with a 7×50 Palma Real Presidente cigar. That should get me through the first 3-4 innings. After that it will probably be a moot point.

And the WhiteSox down the Cubs today at Wrigley. 3-0 ChiSox your happy final.

Brewers entertain Seattle later tonight at County Stadium in Milwaukee. And FYI, Front Row Amy was in attendance last night.

    FYI here,
Some showers went through the Cincinnati area a while ago but they seem to have moved on now. According to the Doppler Radar all is clear for tonight’s massacre.

Not the complete comprehensive meteorological report that Rat usually spoils us with………bet we’ll take it.

Earlier today I was mulling over my 4 favorite baseball announcing tandems of all time and they are as follows:

    1. Harry & Steve
    2. Harry & Jack
    3. Uecker & anyone
    4. Curt Gowdy & Tony Kubek

As much as I hate the cubs, I absolutely cherished watching Harry and Steve call the action. My announcing dream team would have been Harry & Uecker occupying the same booth.

On paper our odds of success tonight look pretty bleak. But we seem to fare pretty well vs opposition Aces. I certainly wouldn’t plop down any moolah on our boys tonight, but wouldn’t be shocked if we came away victorious.
