Oli! You threw 4 lefties against Means and 1 switch hitter. You can’t start Gorman again?

It’s not a mail it in Marmol lineup but it’s not the best lineup they can throw out there.

    You can’t start Gorman again?

Especially since Gorman accounted for all the runs last game.

In fairness, Gorman only has a .522 OPS against left-handers this year (his career is much more equal).

Though, if we were paying attention to splits, Goldy would be hitting nowhere near #3 in the order and would get frequent rest days at home.

They must have let Ollie write this one up himself.

The Nolans have been kind of sloppy in the field of late.

Nice…Just tuned in to see that a Gorman HR lifts the Cardinals in the suspended game. Uh oh, looks like Arenado can’t find the handle in this game.

Gibson nearing 70 pitches in the 3rd inning. Guys fouling off pitches left and right plus lots of early in the count wasted pitches.

I have a feeling we’ll see Loutos debut today.

3 called strikes against Nootbaar that were all off the plate. Same pitch he got wrung up on yesterday and was thrown out.

As I predicted no Gorman in this game. Lefty or not he is swinging a hot bat. Makes no sense.

Yeah, I believe you should always go with the hot bat until it cools itself off.

I tuned in late. I’m looking at the box which shows the Cardinals with an E-5. I also see a FC on the same play. And finally, on the previous play I see what looks to be an IF hit to Arenado. Gibson hasn’t been charged with an ER, so I’m wondering if it was indeed only 1 error charged to Arenado. Anyone know what’s what?

Yes, the FC and error were on the same play.

I think the 3rd run was not charged because it would not have scored it the error had not taken place.

Okay thanks, LA. What confused me was that the E-5 was indeed described as a “fielding error.” When I saw the FC, I thought they made a mistake and that it should have been termed a throwing error. I was also a bit crossed up by the previous IF hit to the 3B’man. I thought he may have not fielded the ball cleanly. In any case, it’s 3-0 and Gibson’s not accountable for any ER’s.

Teams on a roll, find ways to comeback.

What are we looking at for long relief?

The top of the lineup scored!

Oh, it was because Winn was moved from 8 to 1….

Nice…Two run triple and another run on the Das Boot for Donovan…4-3 Cardinals!

Talk about perfect timing……back from the salt mines in time to see Donovan stepping in and then clearing bases with the help of an errant throw to 3rd base. 4-3 Cards heading to the 7th.

Kyle Yandow Leahy on in relief for just the 10th time in his career. Yandow turns 27 in about 2 weeks.

Someone has to do it Pugs. And Leahy hasn’t been too bad. I think it was either he or Fernandez. Fernandez probably gets the 8th.

Wow! Leahy doesn’t get the strike 3 call on an actual strike on the outside corner . . . Twice. But for Lars, they called it on him again and again 3 more inches outside.
