Also BS Southeast/Southwest ExtraI hope Gibson can give us 6-7 innings tonight. Those big four in the pen seem to be getting too much work early on here in 2024.
Since this game is somewhat of an early start there will no doubt be time for the traditional episode of Mannix following it’s conclusion. Maybe even an episode or two of Adam-12 if it’s not too late. I don’t want to keep Whitey Herdog up too late, she needs her rest.

This pitcher named Gibson afforded the BP some much needed rest when he worked 6 IP’ed in his last turn. The only issue was that he was touched up for 2 taters and 6 ER’s before he recorded the first 3 outs.

It appears Burly rides the pine now that Nootbar is healthy. Guessing between Donovan and Herrera/Contreras positioned at DH that Burleson will see sparse play.

I like the reruns of Rockford. He has a different lady for almost every episode. In addition to enjoying a wide variety of women, he also gets beat up by the bad guys in almost every epidode…Haha!
Cardinals need a W to keep pace with Milwaukee who won their game in an 11-5 final over the O’s at Baltimore and the Reds shutout the White Sox in Chicago by a final of 5-0. The Pirates take a loss at Philadelphia as the Phillies win that game by a 4-3 final. The Cubbies play the Mariners later on in Seattle. The guy in charge will close the roof if it rains.
Winn just keeps squaring up pitches. With his speed his BAbip should overall be plus, which I expect him to be dependant on more so than a slugger. Good contact consistently.
I’ve got a campfire percolator that I use on the stove sometimes just because I like the way it makes coffee. It reminds me of the old days when my mom used a stovetop percolator every morning. There is a certain art to making good coffee with one of those.
How are we doing tonight, gentlemen? I see it’s 1-1 with a Walker and Winn combo to get a run in and that Gibson appears to be solid tonight.
