Either for Reynolds (OF) or Lopez (SP). Apparently, both are available. The Cardinals have the trade chips to make it happen.
I doubt the Braves would part with Max.
I agree there should be interest in both Reynolds and Lopez … they would be great additions. Not so sure Reynolds is really available … reports are that Lopez is. However, my guess is the Marlins and Pirates would be interested in the same group that Mo was unwilling to ship to Oakland.
Maybe Mo can work some magic here.

I just don’t see the Pirates doing business with the Cards. Quintana was traded because their team didn’t have much invested in him.
Fried has been with the ATL organization for 6 years almost to the day. He is a late bloomer and the Braves stuck with him… he ain’t going nowhere. He put up better #s in ’22 than their 21 game winner Kyle Wright,Morton,Anderson and Strider.
That said, personally I’d love to see him in STL but the FO seems to be focused on Rodon…. for now.
