A repetition of last night? Gee I hope not, but all the elements are there.

Mikolas and Wain, and pray for rain?

    We can always hope.

Maybe a din-din of pork chops, mashed potatoes, corn and cornbread will help. I’ll get started now just in case.

    Rah Cardinals!

Gorman is now hitting around .225. And striking out alot. Seems like he needs to head back to Memphis and learn how to make contact. And yes, I know those stupid analytics show he’s the 2nd most valuable player on the team.

What the heck! Send ’em all down: BAs (because that’s what you love) this month:

    Edman .215
    Donovan .173
    Yepez (IL) .149
    Sosa .133
    O’Neill .185
    Knizner .225
    Romine .138

Knizner is leading the pack. We’re doomed.

Is there anyway that Knizner can hit 10th?
Tonight’s game will be a nice little indicator of what this Gorman fellow is all about. If being lowered to the #8 hole(just one notch higher than Knizner) doesn’t get this kid fired up, then not much will. I expect big things from Mr. Gorman this evening. What’s for din-din one may ask? How does grilled cheese with tomato sandwiches, macaroni salad, tomato soup, deviled eggs and 3 Popeye’s apple cinnamon pies grab you?

Gorman is the second most valuable player on the team Rats? I call BS.

I was being sarcastic. I don’t like all of these analytics.

I am in Atlantic City for a couple of days attending the National Sports Collectors Convention. This din-din is a burger and onion rings at Johnny Rocket’s on the Boardwalk. Also splurging and getting a Hersheys chocolate malt. With all the walking up and down the boardwalk and beach I did today, the malt has already been burned in calories.

When will our club start hitting again?? And pitching??

I spared myself the agony last night but wasn’t surprised. Wasn’t that bad till Fenendez gave up the DamnSlam with his first batter. Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe he did the same thing the last time he was brought in against Cincinnati? In my humble opinion Gorman was rushed in as the savior in the pipeline. It appears to me he trys to uppercut swing and lift the ball.Gotta hit it first. Not really my favorite at 2nd on defense. Sosa is a much better fielder but has trouble getting on base. So the lack of Nado and Goldy really shows. Pitching wasn’t that great last night. Sheesh man their whole line up was rightys.
Din-din will be chuck steak-rice and steamed cauliflower.
Waino should keep the score down but we still need more runs.
    Go Cardinals!

Own your own BS, don’t make analytics your scapegoat just so you can talk it down. I promise I’ll call BS every time.

Hopefully we man up and thump these chumps tonight. Din din is a grilled ham and swiss on pumpernickel. Baked mac-n-cheese with some Tabasco sauce drizzled on it. Tomato, basil, feta salad. Grape Nehi.

Was that the right call to send Pujols. Seems like first and third with no one out is not worth the risk. I am not watching the game yet.

My din din was your basic, but very tasty baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, and green beans.

On replay, Albert slowed down around third. Looked like he looked for the ball rather than the coach? But I was distracted watching it.

BikeMike-They were clearly waiting on that malt. Why didn’t you do that weeks ago?

Pujols doing what we really need. Clutch home run. He’s going back to his prime with 3 hits, a triple shy of the cycle.

I think you have to ride Albert while he’s hitting this well. And I’m also thinking that Noot should be out there just now. With O’Neill, Carlson, Arenado, Edman, and Goldman needing to be regulars. That leaves just 2B (well, and C, but…the options are limited there). Is it time to rest Donovan with some more frequency for a bit? I’ve been going back and forth between him and Gorman. Not sure if the board has talked that to death.

That’s a winner!! Clutch performances by Pujols and Waino!! This split feels like a series win.
