It’s fun to follow our minor league games in real time online. Pitch by pitch. I try to do it everyday. Just Google ‘milb scores”. All the action is there.

Plus you can check out the box scores of all the games our 4 minor league teams have played since their opening days.

I love watching MILBTV. I think it is only $50 for the whole year. The next best thing to watching a game live.

That’s an excellent set of starters. Hopefully will produce a winning night for the farm again.

I watched the video of Carlson’s bomb and investigated to see if the “Blair” on the back of the victim was our old friend Seth. Sure enough, he is not faring well at all this year after looking ok last year. Interestingly, the starter for Durham was Kevin Herget, 31, former Cards farmhand who is acquitting himself quite well for the Bulls in a handful of starts.

Hence has looked very good in his 4 3 inning outings. 19 Ks in his 12 innings. Very promising.

Hope Jack looks good like last time. Interested to see how many innings he goes.

Paniagua with 14 Ks in 7 IP looks like a strong candidate for PotD.

Then again, 3B prospect Samil De La Rosa hit for the cycle in the FCL game, so that’s hard to pass up.

Flaherty needed 59 pitches tonight to go 4 innings, Bling. Not terribly efficient.

But he only allowed 1 baserunner (solo shot) while striking out 6 hitters — which is darn near flawless. So I’d say it’s time to send Jack packing for St. Louis. If Hicks and Packy and Pallante can make MLB starts while limited to 50, 60, 70 pitches, then surely Jack Flaherty can be permitted to start in the majors with a 70-75 pitch ceiling.

They have to DFA Aaron Brooks at this point right?

I agree on Flaherty, especially since we only have 3 actual starters (Pallante would be #4)

Need to get Matz back too.

Tre Fletcher is back and has struck out 3 more times today in the FCL to bring his year to 0-19 with 19 strikeouts. Might be the craziest stat I’ve ever seen.

Matz has not progressed, but hasn’t been shut down or anything

    According to Marmol:

“It wasn’t as quick as we anticipated, but there hasn’t been any time where he was shut down from throwing… It’s more so building up that arm progression and he’ll have a flat-ground session again and go through that process”.
