Another interesting back story to tonight’s Game 1.
2 former #KBO players squaring off in Game 1 of this #STLCards vs Brewers DH today.
Kwang-Hyun Kim spent his entire 13 year KBO career with the #SKWyverns. Kim is a 4x champion

KK is at 23 pitches after 2 IP, which is very efficient. This may be a just watch him start for KK, Cardinals27.
Kim has allowed 2 doubles, but has pitched well otherwise. The Cards have outhit the Brewers, but neither team has broken through.
Shildt would not say a pitch limit. He said he would be asking KK how he feels and checking with Yadi on when his stuff is declining.
This Lindblom doesn’t exactly have Cy Young stuff, but he’s managed to keep the Cards’ bats at bay. This game 1 is hugely important with the inconsistent Ponce going in game 2. We need to do something again him sometime.
Tough to watch Carp look at three straight strikes without moving his bat.
Kim is looking good, working at a good pace.
25 – Lindblom had a 7.84 ERA last season and has a 6.06 ERA this season.
Today he shut out the Cardinals on 3 hits through 5 innings while striking out 6.
Think we have a problem with this offense?Hader gets the Livan zone, and the Cards can’t solve him. I hope Helsley isn’t coming in. I don’t trust him at all.
