State College Spikes Notebook – 2018 Week 9

Week No. 9 was one of the shortest to date for the 2018 Single-A short-season affiliate State College Spikes. The club finished the week with a 3-1 record, placing third in the New York-Penn League Pinckney Division standings with an overall record of 27-31. The club currently sits 6.5 games back of the first place Auburn Doubledays. Stanley Espinal led the way at the plate with Jacob Schlesener recording one of his best professional starts to date.
