The Peoria Chiefs finished the regular season with a 5-1 week, and punched their ticket to the playoffs as they claimed the MWL Western Division wild card spot. Recent arrival Evan Mendoza batted .407. Peoria will take on the second half champions Quad Cities River Bandits in a three-game series.
