CBS Sports Network is back for a second season of live national telecasts of Minor League Baseball games during 2015.
St. Louis Cardinals top prospects will be included in one of the 10 games, showcased on July 16 – the Memphis Redbirds contest in Des Moines against the Iowa Cubs.
This matchup will be a reprise of one of CBS’ best games last season. On May 29, 2014, national viewers were treated to a complete game, one-hit shutout from pitcher Tim Cooney. The lefty carried a no-hitter into the ninth, leading the Redbirds to a 4-0 win over the I-Cubs from AutoZone Park. The effort powered Cooney to the Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Week award.
