Both coming off uneventful, relatively unproductive seasons. Teams that might hope to “strike lightening in a bottle” at fairly discounted current trade values compared to where they once were for both O’Neill and Carlson. Especially, a team that might have a surplus of good, maybe not great, starting pitching. I’m thinking back to Mo picking up Montgomery for Bader. An offer similar to that.
