I’m going into the hospital on Friday for some minor surgery and was setting the DVR for the Cardinal games I’ll miss when I’ll probably be in the hospital.

From the DirecTV program guide, it looks like the Birds and Dodgers on Friday 4/28 is on FS1, and NOT on Bally Sports Midwest. The guide shows Bally carrying some tennis tournament (which are always blacked out on DTV anyway). The program guide is sometimes (often) wrong, so, i guess I’m wondering if the FS1 games are exclusively on FS1?

As always, I’d appreciate any information about this that anyone can share.

    Paid - Annual

That may be one of those Friday night games on Apple TV.

That is correct. Apple only. The Saturday game is on BSM and FS1.

The definitive schedule is on the team website.

    May your surgery be uneventful.

Thanks for the information and the kind wishes. Hopefully, I’ll be pretty well medicated, and snoozing by game time.

I appreciate the kindness and the lack of cattiness on this forum. I seldom post, but I always enjoy reading other’s posts.q

I recently read you will need an Apple TV+ subscription to watch Apple broadcasts of MLB games this year. Last year, you needed an Apple log in, but did not need to be a paid subscriber.

I enjoy the classic games Appletv has in their collection. Lots of stuff like Randy Johnson 20k games from 80’s, 90’s and up to now.

I guess some will be spared another opening series loss.

Did it seems like this team had trouble winning opening series last year as well? I’d guess they were under .500 for the season.
