    Well it wouldn’t be a Cardinal spring training without a pitching injury. It is a rite of passage.

    I thought we might make it this year since Reyes was let go but nope.

    Maybe a blessing in disguise. Last year Wainwright started the season on a 4-man rotation. Maybe enough bullets will be saved to be effective in September and October this year.

    How is the WBC responsible for this injury? Derrick Gould reported the injury occurred while lifting weights 2 days after his last pitching performance.

    Yeah, who knows? If Goldy and Arenado hadn’t played on team USA, maybe they would’ve gotten hammered in a car wreck going out for dinner in Jupiter.
