Can anyone tell me what is going on with these three players?

I believe I read that Ankiel finally gave up the return hopes. That would have been a heck of a story though it if would have worked out!
About a week ago I read Reyes was rehabbing in Jupiter and making baby steps, but not as many as wanted, with no timetable for a return to action.
Not your patented epic thread that we’ve grown accustomed to seeing from the Esteemed Rat. The typical RatsBuddy authored thread evokes so many emotions it’ll make your head spin. One moment you’re laughing….then fighting back the tears….then sitting back just trying to get a handle on what you just read……then standing up and wildly cheering. This thread had none of this. You can do better than this, Rat!
The Ankiel story can’t end here. It was all too ambitious. One more winter of throwing please. It only adds to the legend.
I think it’s cool that we have those two amazing lottery tickets.
Healthy Jeff for the first time in years. Reyes finally finds his rhythm. Those could be incredible finds if our stars finally align.I think he joined the amalgamated bird watcher’s society. And since then he’s been possessed by the idea of being the first in his group to spot a Long-eared Owl.
Cecil is likely not returning this season. It was covered in the injury section of the StL Notebook published this morning (free for all to read each Monday).

Yeah. Which is why I’m doubtful that any team will give us anything for him. Maybe a minor league depth piece.
