Yep. My dad served, and saw some his buddies pay that ultimate price. Had an aunt whose fiancé lost his life in WWII. We pay our respects to those who gave their all so we can enjoy the blessings we have today.
The younger generation has been taught to hate this country and the good things it stands for. No country is perfect but the US is a hell of a lot better and freer than China, Russia, North Korea, and many of the smaller dictatorships that exist today. A certain WNBA basketball player found this out the hard way.
I hope everyone had a good day today. I am thankful for the ultimate sacrifice that so many have made to keep us free to speak, worship and live how we deem best. Many thanks to our veterans on TCN as well.
My dad served in Vietnam while my grandfather and uncle both served in WWII. All three were able to come home after the wars but here is to those who fell on the battlefield. RIP.
