January 2, 2020 at 10:50 am #118092I can’t argue with any of those predictions for top stories. The only other thing I can think of would be how the closer role is handled but that may or may not be top 5 worthy.
January 2, 2020 at 1:33 pm #118136Yes, that could have been a top story, too. The reason I did not include it in my top five is the feeling that overall, the pen is in good hands. The closer may be a committee or it may pass from one to another, but I sense they have a solid group in relief. At this point, either Martinez or Kim will be out there. There is also the promise of Hicks returning, which if he recovers normally, could be a big second half boost to the bullpen. Then, there are the extra possibilities of Reyes, and Helsley and Cabrera and …
