Take a deep breath cardinal fans.. I know the season has not started as we had hoped but we are better off than we were a year ago at this time. This time last year, we were 5 games under 500 and 12 gb in the wc.Now were 5 games over and 1 gb in the wild card.
Besides being in first place on June 2oth.. doesn’tmean a team will win the division. Thats where we were a few years back and by Sept !st sept 1st, we were 7.5 games out,and 8.5 out in the wild card, trade deadline passed, and only 25 games remained.I’m sure there were some cardinal fans on sept 1, back then who felt it was a done year and what happen to the team who was in 1st back in June.The year I am speaking of is 2011.I’m sure all Cardinal fans remember what happen in 2011. I’m sure there will be some that will say we had a different team back then and we had the ability to do that because of the players we had…. but I’m almost certain that on Sept 1st, 2011 most cardinal fans weren’t saying that because we didn’t know. The point here is that anything can happen… Were only 4 out and 1 back in the wild card with 90 games left and the trading deadline still approaching. Keep hope Cardinal nation even though at times it’s hard. so, Wear your Cardinal red proudly and don’t listen to what all the nay sayers and doubters are saying on June 20th because last I checked the season ends on September 30th. And we just happened to be playing the Cubs at wrigley the final series. I think pay back would work well then as I’m sure every Cardinal fan remembers where the Cubs celebrated their division title last year. Paybacks a Bichh. The Cardinals will soar High once again
