Just for the record, Pallante is actually 8-8 right now.

I think I’d have invested the vs lefty PA’s in Herrera at DH.

Pallante throwing BP and a Winn error lose the lead. 2-1 them

In Pallante’s defense, 2 of those hits were ground balls at infielders and another was a funky opposite field pop-up. There was also the double which was truly drilled.

Pallante has hung 2 sliders and they’ve both become hard hit doubles. Otherwise, he’s been who he usually is – a groundball machine.

I wonder if anyone thought to possibly work things so Pallante would pitch in Colorado. That would have been smart. HAL probably doesn’t understand that, though.

Nootbaar and Walker really adding to our hitting with runners in scoring position woes today.

Have to say Walker is looking a lot better the last couple of weeks. Still don’t like his approach at the plate, but he handles pitches middle-in pretty good.

Also Herrera and Nootbaar are hitting well of late. Course our astute manager is not playing Ivan today. Understand not catching him on a day after night game, but he should be hitting every day.

Liberace throws a bunt attempt away, down the RF line. The runner on 1st comes all the way around to score. Cards get nothing in the 9th. Giants win 6-5.

I get Jordan Hicks would have made a good throw..:)

Gave us a snatch of hope, then broke our hearts. Could be a motto for the whole season,
