Well folks, after all the negativity going around, including a lot from yours truly, I have to say I am impressed that this club has still gone out and competed and are not just mailing it in. Taking a road series against a good Minneapolis-St Paul ball club, and getting off the deck after two losses to a very good Padres team is commendable.
I don’t think this is any kind of turn around, but it is good to see that we have professionals who are not going to quit and will give the opponents a run for their money.
Now this weekend in the Bronx could get ugly. But it will be due to a talent gap and not from us laying down.
