jj-cf-stlParticipantWe must lead the league in shooting our own foot.
The two gifted runs, is now the lead.August 21, 2024 at 9:40 pm #265148Fans are speaking. New low (since 2006) for the second night in a row against the first-place team before school starts and the NFL begins. What will September bring?
Announced attendance tonight is 29,580. First full capacity number ever announced here below 30,000, so you can go ahead and copy/paste all of last night's takes.

August 21, 2024 at 9:42 pm #265149Talk about tough love. With the way Kitty has been pitching lately, he’s making it very tough to continue loving the guy.
I hear you, Materialman…..and welcome!
August 21, 2024 at 9:44 pm #265150Glad to see folks are staying away. Owners and front office need to see the crap they’ve put out on the field isn’t worth the cost.
August 21, 2024 at 9:45 pm #265151As soon as Jr. sees that attendance figure, he’ll be posting an ad on Craigslist.
August 21, 2024 at 9:49 pm #265152Terrible at bat, take a #$%@ing pitch
August 21, 2024 at 10:21 pm #265159The Brewers lead the NLC by a double digit margin, but somewhere in Milwaukee a baseball fan is breaking furniture…
August 21, 2024 at 10:26 pm #265160Announced @Cardinals attendance 8/21/2024

August 21, 2024 at 10:27 pm #265161Never getting to pitch when they are behind, closer Ryan Helsley is pitching the 10th for the Cardinals.
August 21, 2024 at 10:29 pm #265162They sold 3 hot dogs and a 6 pack of beer.
August 21, 2024 at 10:37 pm #265163Walk off grand slam for Arenado!
August 21, 2024 at 10:39 pm #265164Despite everything, a walkoff grand slam is always fun to watch!

ParticipantJust checked tge scoreboard, cardinals finish strong and put up 10. Thats a lot for them. Im not sure its a good or a bad thing. Winnings always fun but things dont tend to get fixed when things are fun. And there is plenty broken.
August 21, 2024 at 11:12 pm #265169Maybe this’ll get them cranked up.
August 21, 2024 at 11:52 pm #265170That was an exciting way to end the game. Too bad they can’t just ride off into the sunset on that note…
August 21, 2024 at 11:54 pm #265171Ah, another record low tickets sold – and another 20 games to go. Jeez.
August 22, 2024 at 5:51 am #265174
jj-cf-stlParticipantMaybe 10K attendance. Doubt it.
Not the right game to fall asleep early on the couch, but Arenado getting the Game Ball is a lock. Hat-Tip Luken Baker.August 22, 2024 at 6:30 am #265176Not the right game to fall asleep early on the couch, but Arenado getting the Game Ball is a lock. Hat-Tip Luken Baker.
Did the same thing, but woke up in time to see Arenado get the game winner.
