May 18, 2019 at 11:44 am #91082Posting to see if it will work.

May 18, 2019 at 11:47 am #91083It worked but the Edit didn’t. Heck with it.

ParticipantSame lineup
May 18, 2019 at 12:24 pm #91085Do the Rangers not announce their starter ahead of time?
Speaking of starters, that is obviously what is killing this team right now. Yes, the lineup needs to be rearranged but the rotation gives us no chance to win. We have beefed up the bullpen but having a good bullpen doesn’t do you much good if the starter gets shelled every night.

May 18, 2019 at 12:38 pm #91091Tornado Watch with bad weather looming but this game should be played even if delayed. Hoping for a turnaround today.

May 18, 2019 at 3:04 pm #91096Game is in a weather delay.
r/Esteemed Rat <~~~~~~will be watching the Reds game or the PGA while he has his Hamburger Helper (Salisbury), mashed potatos, cherry pie, and a cigar along with Mt. Dew.

ParticipantI guess the Esteemed Rat has ruled out the Keto diet.
May 18, 2019 at 3:35 pm #91099Rat, I like your style. My game nights usually consist of a nice pepperoni pizza, diet mountain dew, and a chocolate brownie. Then after the game a couple of hours of MASH reruns.
Granted a few nights a week the wife insists that I eat my fruits and veggies and I try to walk everyday to stay in decent shape but I like my splurge nights!
May 18, 2019 at 5:50 pm #91102Man, the Cardinals have taken what is usually a colorful and classy uni, and made it look downright ugly in tonight’s game. What a mush-mash of shades that do. It work together.
May 18, 2019 at 5:52 pm #91103…do “not” work together (typing from a phone)
May 18, 2019 at 6:20 pm #91104Cards lead 1-0 midway through the fourth.
May 18, 2019 at 6:39 pm #91105Carpenter hit an opposite field two-run home run that was reversed under umpire review and ruled a double. Bader was on first and was allowed to score. Cards 2-0 and still batting in the fifth.
May 18, 2019 at 6:45 pm #91106Carpenter looks to be picking up the ball better this evening. Maybe it is the start of better production, we will see.
May 18, 2019 at 6:54 pm #91107Nice, very nice start to this game.
May 18, 2019 at 6:56 pm #91108Ozuna creates a run with terrific base running going first to third. Then Shildt makes the right call starting the runner with Molina up. Some good quality baseball from the Red IRC’s tonight. So far only the uniforms are ugly.
May 18, 2019 at 6:57 pm #91109sheesh…there goes the spell check on this phone again “Red IRCs”?? That was “Redbirds”.
May 18, 2019 at 6:58 pm #91110So maybe there is something to losing big in the first game of a series rather than winning big.
May 18, 2019 at 7:08 pm #91111This is where Hudson needs to learn to pitch. Got a nice lead, gives up a run. See to learn to not let things get out of hand.
May 18, 2019 at 7:14 pm #91112“Needs to learn..”. I better give up using this phone and get the tablet.
May 18, 2019 at 7:17 pm #91113Mike, FWIW, you should be able to edit posts, even on your phone. “EDIT” is the first (left) choice in the gray bar on the far right of the date and time stamp.
Cards lead 6-2 in top 6th.
May 18, 2019 at 7:20 pm #91114Yeah, I see that. Thanks.
And again, especially with the lefty throwing I would have liked to see Carpenter at least try to lay one down during that sequence.
May 18, 2019 at 7:31 pm #91115Ozuna with 40 RBIs already.
May 18, 2019 at 7:36 pm #91116Harry with a couple of nice games “deep in the heart of Texas”…but he looked bad in that last AB, swinging at a pitch out of the zone.
Come on Carp, drop one down!

May 18, 2019 at 7:59 pm #91120… but a weak pop-up to shallow center. You won’t break out of it unless you follow the ball better.
