Well, that’s that for the ’26 regular season. I got the two easy ones right in the NL with the Dodgers and Brewers in the NLW and NLC, but missed the mark picking the Phillies over the Braves in the NLE. The AL was a bit more difficult for my baseball gypsy expert to predict…However, I lucked out and got the Indians and Astros right in the ALC and ALW, but missed the mark in the ALE as I thought the Yankees would hold off the Rays in that division. No question as to the biggest surprise in baseball as that honor has to go to the White Sox, but I also never would have thought that the Red Sox would have been able to dig out of the deep first half hole they were in an come back to qualify for post-season play. In any event, I’m always ready for some high stakes baseball action and it ought to be fun to watch this year…Dodgers in 6.

I’m guessing that the Padres and the Red Sox are two WC teams that have a good chance to stir up some genuine trouble once the playoffs get underway.
