I am not usually an Ollie fan but I blieving in giving credit is due. He brought Romero in when he was most needed and against a right handed hitter as well. I think Romero was the only guy who could get us out of that situation. Also glad to see him move Walker and Gorman up in the middle of the lineup.
Does anyone know why Winn is not playing.

Winn was in a car wreck last Wednesday in St. Louis.I assume he is still feeling the effects.
I also assume he will be back in the lineup in Washington.

Winn’s injury situation at a very young age is concerning.
If he’s having issues on his early 20s then by 30 he may decrepit.
May this was just a regular rest day or related to bumps and bruises from the car accident – or maybe it’s not.
Winn reportedly has hip tightness unrelated to the car accident. Last season, he had a knee injury that he played through but eventually required surgery.
He played in 150 games in 2024 and 129 last season before they pulled the plug on him and had him get the procedure on his knee. Averaging 140 games per year would be ironman territory for Nootbaar!
