Not a bad looking gate out in SF tonight for a team that’s situated at 26 games below sea level and 27.5 games off the pace in their respective division. I just checked and the Giants place at 5th in ’26 attendance of the 15 NL teams. I’d say that’s pretty good.
September 7, 2026 at 8:44 pm #318371Of course, if we somehow knew there would be two 100 RBI guys in the middle of the lineup, we probably would have predicted the team would do better than .500
September 7, 2026 at 8:46 pm #318372Burleson gets that one wet as he mashes it for tater #22.
September 7, 2026 at 8:48 pm #318373Need 3 of ’em, Bling…Think ’04.
Edit…Minus the last 4 games…

September 7, 2026 at 8:58 pm #318375I’m happy to see Webb quit the building.

ParticipantTo be honest i think mlb as a whole has been avg this year. Very few teams stand out and the ones that do recordwise have lots of issues. If the brewers ever want to win a world series, this year is their chance.
September 7, 2026 at 9:01 pm #318377Maybe Harris’ll serve up a lambchop with Gorman aboard.
September 7, 2026 at 9:03 pm #318378Church with the 2 out RBI double to whittle it down to a 1 run baseball game.
September 7, 2026 at 9:11 pm #318380For a second there I thought I may be drunk when I saw McGreevy go to work in the 7th. He’s at 105. I was under the impression that sort of thing was outlawed.
September 7, 2026 at 9:14 pm #318381Haha…He goes and gets him after 6.2’s worth of work. Why not let him work for a few more pitches and finish the inning. I’d have to guess that 105 must be the new make believe magic number…
September 7, 2026 at 9:18 pm #318382Now we get a manager’s delay that “Speeds up the game.” The game of baseball sure has changed these last few seasons. Or, maybe I’m just getting to be the old grumpy guy…Haha!
September 7, 2026 at 9:19 pm #318383Got the right guys standing in this inning.
September 7, 2026 at 9:21 pm #318384I’d like to see Victor vector around to cross HP.
September 7, 2026 at 9:22 pm #318385Maxwell Smart got hold of Alec’s bat…
September 7, 2026 at 9:44 pm #318386Boy, oh boy. That sac bunt attempt could’ve been a lot worse.
September 7, 2026 at 9:47 pm #318387Torres tossed his bat as though he had ripped a 3 run tater.
September 7, 2026 at 9:48 pm #318388That’ll tie it up.
September 7, 2026 at 9:51 pm #318389I thought the Giant’s manager was possibly going to burn Sanmartin during the Church AB. I wish he had.
September 7, 2026 at 9:54 pm #318390Burly keeps swinging at that pitch down and in at his feet and striking out. That’s about 10 times in the past couple weeks.
Stanek for the bottom of the 9th? That seems like a questionable choice.

September 7, 2026 at 9:56 pm #318392Yeah, it’s not unusual for him to scuffle with LHP’ing.
September 7, 2026 at 9:57 pm #318393Stanek ought’a get us to extras…
September 7, 2026 at 9:59 pm #318394ABS my stinkin’…
September 7, 2026 at 10:02 pm #3183952 on 2 out bottom of the 9th . . .
September 7, 2026 at 10:03 pm #318396Cavanaugh does us a favor and chases ball 4 or this game would probably be over and out with the base hit from Whitcomb.
September 7, 2026 at 10:04 pm #318397Koss is getting too many looks.
