Hey Jnevel? Wouldn’t that be something if Saggese hit 3 bombs tonight. The odds on that had to be in the neighborhood of hitting a Poweball jackpot…..but seriously he’s pretty talented and could now be starting to come into his own at this level. Future looks so bright for our team that you almost need to slap on some shades to safely watch their games.
September 1, 2026 at 11:05 pm #317806Did I just detect the LA faithful conducting the dreaded “Wave”? That was so yesterday……make that yesteryear…..make that yesterdecade….make that yestercentury.
September 1, 2026 at 11:14 pm #317807No big surprise here……Dodgers don’t add to their run total in the 6th with Gassy on the mound.
September 1, 2026 at 11:18 pm #317808Baez bombs one! 11-4 Birds.
September 1, 2026 at 11:21 pm #317809Bernal strikes me like a no nonsense sort of chap. He just may be the real Yadi successor.
September 1, 2026 at 11:29 pm #317810Bruihl plunks Otani just above the right elbow to lead off the Dodger 7th and it inspires a chorus of boos from the Dodger faithful……..one has to be one of two things to boo in a situation such as this…..either very ignorant in life or very ignorant of the game of baseball……or I guess we could legitimately add a third……very intoxicated which probably comprises about 90% of these offenders here in attendance this evening.
September 1, 2026 at 11:32 pm #317811Since this one is safely in the win column, I think it might be time to go count some floating sheep. Good night Jnevel……..looks like you’re the last man standing here.
September 2, 2026 at 4:44 am #317813Just watched this one on replay. Nice comfortable win. No anxiety or teeth grinding. Just the way we like ’em. More of the same would be great!
Rah Cardinals!September 2, 2026 at 7:10 am #317822Wasn’t it me predicting the Cardinals lumber company would spank the Blue?
September 2, 2026 at 8:58 am #317824Baseball is just too predictable Bling!
Sorry Pugs! I had hit the sack long before your final post. Too late for me to stay up on a week night. Glad you won your bet!
September 2, 2026 at 8:59 am #317825Watched the condensed game while on the treadmill for my morning workout. Nice to see the offense go crazy folks.
Baez with an odd hit line. I think he has 9 hits and 6 are homers.
Also watched a recap of the Cubs loss to the Crew. And to top it off even the lowly Rox got one in the victory column. Good outcomes yesterday.
September 2, 2026 at 9:03 am #317826I hope Baez’s first game didn’t get too much I to his head. He has always been a swing for the fences guy, but it seems like has has been even more so since getting to the bigs. He needs to take some pitches and stop swinging at so many pitches out of the zone
September 2, 2026 at 9:18 am #317827I’m with you there Albert. I don’t like who he is at the plate right now. I don’t think that approach bodes well for his future.
September 2, 2026 at 1:05 pm #317844ML orgs will figure out what to do about Baez. Then we will see what he does about it.o
September 2, 2026 at 4:22 pm #317854Glad you won your bet!
It was literally like taking candy from a sleeping baby, Jnevel. Everything about last night’s game screamed “OVER”……..those 8.5 total runs was a gift from heaven. My handicapping had it at 11 total runs and of course it even far exceeded that total.
September 2, 2026 at 6:43 pm #317866It was settle up time in the 3rd.
