Well gorman hits one out. Wasnt surprising, they kept pitching him in the same location, even gorman could see that. This pitcher for the orioles isnt that good from my viewpount. We should score some runs, enough, whose to say.
Looking at some Oriole rosters from the past I was reminded that Rick Dempsey had a 24 season Big League career. That’s a long time to survive as a human backstop.
Along with this edge of your seat action, I’ve been flipping the channel over to the Dodgers/Braves game. Dodgers are up 3-2 with the help of a 2 run tater from Little Eddie.

Well the cardinals coming back . Get a break, the left fielder completely whiffed on a ball. I knew they could hit this pitcher. Of course the blame is on the orioles manager as well. It was clear their pitcher was gassed. After a easy win last night their bullpen should have been rested. Cardinals just tied it up.
Pugs, he is making guys look silly isn’t he. He took on the heart of their order and made every one of those guys look outmatched
It’s almost like Gassy needs a larger challenge, Albert. I don’t think Ty Cobb could hit Gassy…….other than on the chin with a right hook after Gassy sent him back to the pines with the bat still in his hands for the fouth straight at bat.
I think holidays son will be fine but i think he swings at the first pitch way too often esp for a leadoff hitter. I understand the bunting over of the runner by the guy before him but i think it actually made the inning easier for the cardinal pitcher.
Looks like our old pal Kitty will be center stage for Baltimore in the bottom of the 9th to try to close matters out for the Marylanders.
Obriens stuff just isnt as good lately. He used to be almost unhittable but to me his stuff right now is very hittable. Just a matter of whether it gets hit at somebody or not.
Kittredge looks kind of amusing out there. He doesnt look like closer stuff to me. Also doesnt really have any pitching form.
And Kitty claws his way back to earn the save after allowing 2 men to reach base.
O’Brien is starting to falter. Luckily we have Gassy waiting in the wings. He definitely is the next man up.
Riley is at 55 appearances. Last year 61 all together. August is no time for a closer to be running out of gas.
Well I missed a heck of a comeback but yeah, you don’t want your closer to have an ERA over 3 and OBrien’s is now over 4.
Yikes.
