Weather wise all is clear in the greater downtown metro St. Louis area. And the Doppler Radar shows nothing the rest of the evening as well.

Smooth sailing for this one tonight folks.

Should be a nice breeze when the 5 and 6 guys are up in the home half.

Good to hear Rats. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately if this is another one like Sunday), yours truly won’t be watching as I will be at our local SABR chapter’s board meeting. I am the treasuerer for our local chapter and am thus obligated to attend. We are meeting at brew pub for a little beer and baseball-related banter concerning our local group.

Meanwhile din-din was a big ole salad. I cooked up a salmon filet on the grille a couple of days ago, and the Lovely Lady Bike and I got out all our vegetables – lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, beets, red onions, cucumber, and probaly a couple of other things and put mega salads together, topped with chunks of salmon. Lady Bike used up the rest of the chunk blue cheese dressing, so I used ranch on mine. Oh, and a buddy I met up with last weekend gave us some onion bread he and his wife made – really good stuff. Had a slice of that with the salad.

Anyone know what the betting sites have on number of strike outs for Gorman tonight?

Was posted in a thread here that Liberatore is basically a left handed Miles Mikolas?

Busch stadium is pretty dead. I understand why but it’s still sad to see what it’s come to.

I wonder if any of the parking lots are charging less for game parking due to less demand.

Bling – hell no lol – they probably raised them to further punish the fans who are showing up.

Good grief at this ref. He’s missing calls left, right, and center and pretty much embarrassing himself.

Gorman destroyed AAA pitching to the tune of .183 including a red hot .222 in August.

These are the moves that keep me tuning in!!

And there it is – the Liberatore we all know and love as he gives up the three run blast to Alonso.

And another hr against Liberatore. Do we think he’s likely headed for the bullpen next year?

That was a 450′ blast Libby just surrendered.

    Wow.

Lets just hope Liby can get through 5 innings.

I guess no matter how bad he does that we will get to watch Liberatore start for the rest of the season.

4.0 IP for Liby, leaves with the sacks jammed.

This is getting really ugly. Strzelecki has gotten one out so far with five runs in.

Woke up for a middle-of-the-night relief and tuned on to check on the Cardinals. OOOF, 10-1. And I see our man Gorman is still being Gorman. I’m headed back to bed.

Release Liberatore, he’s never going to make it and they’d save him the humiliation of getting bombed on the mound. I’m sure his parents are saying now that he was adopted.

I dont see the cardinals releasing anyone at the moment that can pitch.

Can’t release him, the top ranked farm doesn’t have any pitchers.
