Why was Prieto allowed to take his final at bat in the 8th with two men on?

Liberatore is a day and a dollar short again. Hopefully, Soriano has a productive offseason and continues to improve and gain confidence . I don’t think he’s reached his ceiling yet. Most times he has been an asset. This time he was an ass. ( Obviously, mudville is a sore loser.)

So Prieto down for upcoming Baez promotion for tomorrow’s game? I hope!

Well boys and girls, there you have it. The St. Louis Cardinals, 3 hits, 0 runs, 61-61, .500, smack in the middle of the NL Central, little hope of finishing a winner or grasping hold of a disappearing last wild card (as if that is something worth having). At least we’re spared the pain of hoping.

As Red cautioned Andy Dufresne, “Hope is a dangerous thing.”

Winns defense is so good I am okay with him hitting as long as it stays above an 80ish wRC+.

Your data backs up my thoughts though that 3B and CF are absolute holes in the roster. T

Why does a 4th year SS get a pass, but a 1st year CF not?

And CF was weighed down by them rolling with VSII the first few months.
