The team will either fight back this series or just roll on off the cliff…

These trades are already working out beautifully. The one they call Bloom is one smart cookie!

After yesterday’s nice turn they’ve got Liberatore on the cover of the Rolling Sto…SI.

His career trajectory has been such that there’s no reason at all to believe he won’t continue to improve as a hitter. He’s still a little shy of 28 yrs. old so, the best 4 or 5 seasons of his career are likely to be forthcoming.

Haha…I just took a quick look at another thread and that poverty abatement surcharge on the dog and drink proposal is the best idea I’ve seen since the advent of the hit and run!

Michael didn’t look too thrilled as he handed the baseball to his manager 2 outs shy of qualifying for a decision.

Offense helped more by the short porch in right or by knowing the trading deadline is past and no one with at least two years of team control was dealt, so the core might stick it through together?

I would’ve liked to see Bruilh extended with all the lefties. This could get interesting late.

It’s a 6-5 game now in the last of the 7th.

This one is about to go into the Lost column after a 6-0 lead.

Sigh. Stanek. Hard contact. More hard contact. Sigh again.

They could bulldoze the pen into river and make a lovely fish habitat.

Yankers now have a 7-6 lead in the last of the 7th.

Boy, I can’t wait for all of those pitching prospects to turn into super-star relievers so our bullpen won’t blow any more games.

Well, so far this game has perfectly mirrored the Cardinals season to this point.

A nice promising start and a putrid finish.

The Blazer with a triple. You know when a dump truck passes you on the interstate. Like that.

And Church just slammers a 3-run dong.

9-7 Redbirds in the 8th now.

Huh. More slug equals more runs. Who would have thunk it?

    Especially at Yankee stadium!

You could tell Crooks was going to swing for the fences as soon as he stepped up there. His eyes and look gave it away.
